This mouthpiece is the origin of the line and is the mouthpiece I use most of the time. It gives me phenomenal clarity, flexibility over the entire range, with a very personal sound. For me I still consider this an ideal first trombone mouthpiece in the orchestra. If you are used to playing something with a smaller rim, it may take a while to get used to. Give it a go, the width of the rim gives you warmth of sound, and amazing flexibility. whilst the shallowness of the cup brings a unique combination of; incredible high register with warmth of middle register.
