The Vic Firth Ian Grom M267 Vibraphone mallet is the hardest mallet of the series. The projection and articulation of this mallet is perfect for the top end of the vibraphone. The resulting tone is a strong fundamental with sustain with out the harsh glassy tone other mallets tend to project. The rattan handle delivers the right amount of flex when needed.
